“Cheating On My Mistress" works its charms as the perfect date night. This stage play, written by Shaneisha Dodson, is replete with scenes of physical comedy (D-Nice), strong family tides (Carmelo & Cynthia), betrayal (Augustine, Monique, Pretty Rickey), solid faith (B.J, Chris), and redemption. Ms. Dodson shows us credibly how she pulled all those pieces together and created a wonderful masterpiece with the stage play “Cheating On My Mistress”, a must see in a city near you! Job well done! Reviews: Mid-town Arts Center: "Cheating on My Mistress" Shaneisha Dodson-Black Girlz Productions Fantastic for a small production on an afternoon show (very minor boo boos)...funny funny funny!!! That says volumes. I do not outright laugh hard often...I may chuckle, but real laughter if your not family or a friend is very difficult to get from me. I did it consistently in this performance.... The deep/dramatic parts were moving. The performers were charming and engaging. It was a generally well written; and overall a delightful show. Sadly, they are gone as of today; as it is a travelling troupe. I am so glad I went and stayed to see it; ok I am going to say it...aside from being conspicuously Caucasian on my part, it was an afternoon well spent. I think it startled them as much as me...we all got over it...Boom... right there... front row center; Random white girl...had me praying for a healed world. Its not the first...or likely last time I have been, or will be conspicuously Caucasian. Glad they rolled with it. Play adapted from the playwrights novel...nice original organic stuff.

I had a blast last night! The stage play "Cheating on my Mistress" was well-written and the actors had me laughing the entire time.
